Young Tango is a very charismatic, well-muscled, outgoing, curious, and TALL Paso Fino Colt. His parents are 15hh and 14.2hh. Tango has a stunning profile, lots of presence, a balanced conformation and high headset. He is easily handled (Loves People!), friendly and inquisitive and aside from his great personality, he is extremely intelligent and is exhibiting very nice gait. He has great potential for the show ring and/or trail riding. Born to do the Paso Fino gait, this handsome colt carries tremendous bloodlines for super gait and typey good looks! He's been handled regularly and has been halter broke. He has a wonderful sweet temperament and he is good with the farrier and vet. His sire is 'Postin de Petrolero', a very handsome 15 hh dappled gray Paso Fino stallion, with a pedigree that is a 'who's who of great Fino horses'. He is a son of two-time World Fino Champion, Petrolero de Juncal, a World Champion Fino Stallion and has the bloodlines of Plebeyo, Monarca de Besilu, Chucano, Bochica and Contrapunto. On his dam's side (La Captiva de Raphael), Tango has foundation bloodlines such as Guala, Hilaches, Mahoma, all Meridian Meadow horses who epitomized the ideal Paso Fino with their natural smooth four beat even gait, and easy to handle disposition.
Spring 2010 Update: Tango is super sweet and extremely friendly! He is a good size for a three year old, standing around 14.1hh. His one month of saddle training has gone exceptionally well, and as you can see, he is very handsome under saddle. Personality-wise, Tango is charismatic, outgoing, curious, and loves people! He is very intelligent and learns quickly! Tango will make a wonderful trail buddy with his smooth gait and willing attitude. He has excellent ground manners and he is good with the farrier and vet.
