CONGRATULATIONS!!
Fina Vista Farm would like to thank their customers and wish them many happy trails with their Paso Finos!  We will always welcome your feedback, recent pictures and updates on shared adventures. Pictured below are some pasos from our farm with their new families.
"Alondra" quickly became known as 'the Princess' and her regality was instantly apparent to all who met her.  Her proud carriage likely comes from her Bochica lineage. Alondra is now having her every whim catered to by her new devoted owner, Lynda S. (pictured left), of Scotland, Ontario.  I was fortunate enough to see Lynda and Alondra at the Mansfield Ride this year and Lynda told me: "not a day goes by that I am not grateful to you for matching me up with my dream horse".
This tall, elegant mare of Puerto Rican bloodlines, including Alicante, really gives a lovely ride. "Edie", now lives happily with Cathy W., of Michigan. Cathy says: "Camilla was very helpful in the purchase of my first Paso. She is very honest and truly concerned that horse and rider match. What a wonderful experience to deal with such friendly people. I have had my Paso for a little over a year and can still call on her if I have questions".
These two lovely young ladies, "Jewel" and "Vida" were originally bred by Katherine Boldman in Florida and now live with The Hubbs family of Saddle Rock Pasos in Belleville, Ontario.  They were born here and delighted us every day with their lovely gait and personalities.
This lovely mare is a daughter of Rapido del Paso and has an unbelieveably smooth gait and a delightfully complex personality.  "Rosalie" still lives at Fina Vista Farm, as a boarder, and is owned by Katharine Creery, of Damascus, Ontario.  Katharine loves her pasos so much she moved to Damascus to be closer to them.  Rosalie has had three beautiful foals here, is an awesome trail horse, a successful show horse and even a queen of parades!  Check out her gorgeous daughters, Vida (above) and Neruda (Fillies sales page).
"Reba" is the nickname of this lovely redhead.  This young mare, with Faeton LaCe and Ladrillo in her pedigree, was pure pleasure to handle and to train.  She is now owned and loved by the Ellison Family in West Lorne and London, Ontario.  Pictured at left with Bruce Ellison and right with Erin Ellison (though I think she actually belongs to Andrea Ellison :). Reba is expecting a foal by Mercenario deLa Libertad in Spring of 2004!
"Posey" was the first Paso Fino born at Fina Vista Farm, and it's hard to believe she is all grown up and hitting the trails.  Her birth was one of the highest attended events of the county, most  likely!  A quirkier character might be hard to find, or a more loveable one.  She hopes to share many happy trails with her new special person, Erin Ellison.
The third Paso in the Ellison family trilogy is the irrepresible "Diego".  He was born on a chilly day at Fina Vista Farm, and gaited his little heart out from birth to keep warm and keep up with mom, Reba's, big strides.
"Siete" is a hot young colt that has taken Paso fever to the great white North.  Here he is in his new home with the Touzin family of New Liskeard, Ontario.  Siete sired his first foal in the Spring of 2003.
There is no doubt that "Nevada", got her unique colouring from her famous grandfather, Nevado.  This filly had such a sweet and gentle nature and calm manner under saddle that we knew she would make a great "family horse".  Her new owners, Anita and Aaron S. of Kentucky,  already had their perfect Pasos and were looking for one suitable for their young children.  They had this to say about their purchase... " I'll have to say when you send a horse, you send a horse.... We rode her yesterday.  She did very well.  She would not come out of walk with the kids.  So needless to say the whole family loves her."
This young grey filly, named "Criquet", carries the noble bloodlines of such great Pasos as Profeta, Plebeyo and Lunares.  She was a hard one to let go and I would have to say she was the nicest horse ever to train... and I will seek out this pedigree again.  Criquet has a new name, Querica, and proud new owner, Victoria Poe, of Guelph,Ontario and has returned to stay at Fina Vista Farm. Welcome back Querica!
