CONGRATULATIONS!! Continued.... Page three! . |
Fina Vista Farm would like to thank their customers and wish them many happy trails
with their Paso Finos! We will always welcome your feedback, recent pictures
and updates on shared adventures. Pictured below are some pasos from our
farm with their new families. |

Libelula de FinaVista is a stunning near-black filly by our own Mercenario and out of Canadian Dama de Noche. "Lula" has a fabulous quick and snappy natural gait, lovely conformation, a people-loving
attitude and loves to go to work. Just like dad, Lula loves to hit the trails and bravely goes anywhere for you. Always the first to greet
you at the gate, Lula knows how to make herself popular. We are very proud of this beautiful young
mare and we are thrilled with her new 'mom', Claire C., of Fenwick, Ontario. |
Elegancia is a very pretty chestnut daughter of the 7-time PFHA Grand National conformation
champion, El Chino de El Batey. Elegancia truly lives up to her elegant moniker. A gentle mare with personality and
presence, she has been a popular ride on the farm. "Ella" had her biggest "click" with Mary Jane, who leased her for some time on the farm.
In 2006, the match was made official and Mary Jane McElvey, of Fergus,
ON, is now her proud and official new owner. Mary Jane and Ella have become great ambassadors for the Paso Fino breed... I often hear something
along the lines of... "I met a lady with a beautiful Paso Fino horse... she
even let me ride it and it was wonderful... do you know Mary Jane?" Congratulations Ella and MJ! |
Sorpresa is an eye-catching grulla mare who has done it all from showing to trail-riding
to making beautiful babies. Now she is going to make a young girl very happy
by being a wonderful birthday present! This mare has that very special
combination of smooth gait, dramatic presence, elegant frame and is as gentle
as a lamb to handle and ride. Congratulations to Emily, John and Janet of
Alliston, ON.! |

Sofia is a lovely young grulla mare who is daughter to Sorpresa (above). She has a gentle, sweet temperament, willing disposition and smooth,
pleasure gait. Her colour is spectacular... she looks lilac in the summer.
She is in foal to Mercenario for a 2007 foal. Though there were several tears shed when it was time to
say good-bye to this wonderful mare, we are very happy about and excited for her
new owners. She and her in utero foal are headed West to a new farm that
will be raising Paso Finos in Alberta, Canada. Congratulations to
Jane Brydges of Seba Beach, Alberta. If you are looking for quality Paso
Finos in Western Canada in the future, you can contact Jane at email: JaneBrydges@telus.net or call: 780-797-5430. |
Pascua is a gorgeous, sturdy grey pleasure mare who is also headed out West with Sofia
(above). She is a daughter of El Triunfo de la Libertad and La Ofrenda de Casta. Sometimes we may not have many Pasos available for sale and then we are happy
to look to other farms raising quality Paso Fino horses and find the perfect
match for our client's needs. This beautiful girl came to us from Hacienda La Amistad in Waynesville, Ohio, and will be helping Jane Brydges convert the folks out West
to the beautiful, smooth and versatile Paso Fino Horse. |

Tormenta is a truly beautiful mare with good conformation, refinement and a very feminine
and pretty head. She is approx 14.1hh, pleasure gaited and has a great
pedigree - grand-daughter of the legendary Monarca de Besilu and 2+ x Resorte III. Gentle, sweet disposition, lovely natural carriage. She is quiet
and easy to handle with a very smooth and natural gait. Tormenta is proof
of the popular adage "Paso Finos are like potato chips... you cannot have just one!!" After Libelula (see a few horses above) went to her happy new owner on her brand new farm, her
owner decided what she needed was a Paso friend... and Tormenta would be the perfect
horse for the job! Now not only does Claire have 2 lovely Pasos to
choose from when she feels like riding, she also has a horse for her sister and
friends to ride when they come to visit! Congratulations Claire C. of Fenwick,
Ontario! |

Pavonea is a filly that reminded me, yet again, why I am so fond of the Plebeyo bloodlines in a Paso Fino. Not only do you get a phenotypically strong Paso
with great gait that is quick and natural... you get the kind of bright and eager
student that is a pleasure to train. Pavonea is a joy to ride and to work with, and has a friendly, people-loving disposition
that is never hard to have in the barn. From day one, this girl said, "pick
me, pick me... I want to be chosen to work with today!". Gotta love that.
We are sure that her new owner, uber-Paso-shopper Jane Brydges, will
love both her ride and her personality. Have fun girls! |
Everything about this filly, Neruda, is exciting. She has beautiful and solid conformation, flashy and correct
natural gait, presence, style and a willingness to learn. Her gait is so
consistent and snappy. Her build is nicely rounded and powerful. "Rudi"
is a joy to be around and to watch grow. We expect her to be a beautiful
and well-gaited mare that anyone would be proud to own or ride. Her sire is our own Mercenario deLa Libertad and her dam is the beautiful Rosanna Royale, daughter of Rapido del Paso (2 times Reserve Grand National Champion Classic Fino Stallion and son of the legendary Capuchino). We look forward to seeing Neruda develop into the lovely and talented mare we're sure she shall be. An excellent addition to the developing Alberta Paso Fino herd of Jane Brydges! |
Stellar is a flashy, eye-catching Paso Fino mare with lots of brio and style. She has
lots of action and is a very pretty mover. Stellar has been shown and won in performance classes, and also trail-ridden extensively.
She is easy-to-handle, gentle, friendly and sweet. Sensible with
good ground manners. She is now totally white in colour, and stands 14.2hh.
She has no vices or bad habits. This is a mature dependable trail horse
that is also flashy enough to be shown. She has energy and spirit, is brave
and willing. Her great pedigree includes Resorte III, Resorte IV, Lunares, Springtime Pisaro and Favorito Que Tal, and she has produced some great babies. We are thrilled with her new owner,
Pat G. of Courtice, Ontario. They are a great match and Pat promises to
spoil her beautiful mare "not rotten". Many happy trails ladies! |
Sultan is a well-bred boy with Plebeyo, Lunares, Springtime Pisaro and Ensueno de Colombia in his pedigree. Sultan has a flashy movement, natural high head-set, lots of brio and could be pleasure
show potential. He is gentle on the ground and easy to handle. Proving
once again the old adage that Paso Finos are very addictive, this boy was
the fifth horse to go West with Jane Brydges and her crew. We enjoyed so much meeting
Jane, Shelley and Marshall and wish them all great joy and success in their
lives and with their pasos. I believe Sultan will be a terrific summer training and riding project for Jane's grand-son, the
very horse-savvy Marshall. We hope you have lots of fun and largo fargo boys!! |
